Holy Cow Batman! It's Time for Your Performance Review!

Rate Batman's performance on tasks

JuvodHR takes the business of performance reviews and job descriptions seriously, but we also know how to have fun. Batman, Superman and Spiderman are all getting reviews in the next three weeks. It’s time to stack rank their performance for mid-year results.

JuvodHR performance reviews start with a valid job description, which is comprised of two parts: Tasks and Work Styles – characteristics necessary for success. There are over 1,000 customized job descriptions in the JuvodHR job description creator and over 13,000 alternate titles. Let us know if you can’t find what you are looking for.

Here’s Batman’s job description.

The job description serves two primary purposes. It clarifies expectations with the employee and becomes the basis for the performance review.

All of our employee superheroes get reviewed every six months; they like getting regular feedback. It’s good for them and it’s good for the company.

JuvodHR makes the process easy by generating a review that lists the components of the job description. First, tasks are rated using a slider.

Rate Batman's performance on tasks

Then Work Styles are rated using our unique Menos Form.

As you can see in the first box, we’ve taken two Work Styles from Batman’s job description and added hi and low anchors so they can be quickly and easily rated at the same time: ‘Stress Tolerance’ (Stressed vs. Calm) and ‘Integrity’ (Low Integrity vs. High Integrity). The second box allows ratings for ‘Dependability’ (Unreliable vs. Dependable) and ‘Self Control’ (Temperamental vs. Composed).

It’s kind of fun.

Rate Batman's Work Styles

After the ratings are completed, JuvodHR suggests comments for each Work Style, making it easy to provide feedback.

JuvodHR provides feedback language

Additionally, there’s room to add your own comments for performance on tasks, Work Styles and overall.

The manager report includes a final score between 1 and 7. Batman’s overall score was 5.1. A rating between 4 and 6 ‘Meets Expectations’, so Batman is doing a good job.

The end product is a professional report to give to the employee superhero (without the score). Batman’s report is provided at the end of this post.

JuvodHR is like having your own super power. As Batman would say: “KAPLOW! SLOOSH! CRASH! ZOK! WHAMM!”
